To get started with some exercises I've taken a small collection of twenty 1/8 note hand patterns, and overlaid them over various 1/16note double bass patterns. These patterns include the following. #1 RLRLRLRLRLRLRLRL #2 R-RLR-RLR-RLR-RL #3 RLR-RLR-RLR-RLR- #4 RL-LRL-LRL-LRL-L Note: Some of following exercises can be used very effectively without a second bass drum, just between your Hi hat and Bass Drum, So experimentation is recommended !.
